La Romaine
La Romaine is unique in that the white people and the Montagnais live in close harmony there. The Montagnais fish mostly in the rivers and hunt game, along with having several fishing clubs which support them, while the white population fishes for cod, lobster, crab and scallops. With the many outfitter camps, La Romaine is an important stop on any trip to the coast.
