    Brador

The small village of Brador Bay more or less came into being when Captain Randall Jones bought up the fishing rights to the area and became the first permanent resident. As with many of the coast's villages, immigration from Newfoundland in the 1870s helped the population grow. The name, French for "Golden Arm", comes from much earlier when there was a french fort built in the vicinity. Now visitors can come and watch the largest population of Atlantic puffins in Quebec while enjoying fresh seafood and hospitality.
