    St. Augustine River

    St. Augustine is a peaceful village inside the Carrè Saint-Augustin, a large bay. The livelihood of most of the members of this community can be guessed by the boats one sees upon nearing the village. Hand made, they present an impressive site. Along with the trout and salmon, there is also crab and lobster in the nearby waters which provide excellent meals for guests. For entertainment, fishing, hiking and hunting partridge make for an enjoyable day which can be rounded off by a lively game of darts in the evening at one of the pubs.
